I’m finally back into the fray, now with the Heavenly Beasts behind me. “Master! Are you all right!?” Pochi rushed over to me; for some reason, Ferris wasn’t on her back anymore. “Why’re YOU back here? What about Ferris?” “How could I NOT come back here after hearing those dangerous-sounding explosions!? And Chappie is taking care of Ferris for now! So there’s no need to worry– Hmm!? Master!? Who are those super scary people behind you!? Ah, I just remembered…-

“One! Sancta Boundary!” “Ngh–!?” Asley chose not to start with healing himself, but rather restrict Kokki’s movement. This was to ensure that everything went smoother for him going forward. “Two! High Cure Adjust!” Then for the second move, he chose to restore himself to full health. “Damn you…!” Haiko used Air Claw in an attempt to snipe Asley down. “Three! Unyielding Bulwark!” Asley, seeing through the attack, summoned a…-

Haiko, Kokki, and Kohryu faced Asley and directed their murderous hostility at him. At the same time, both the adventurers and the monsters in the area stopped all movement for a brief moment. “Damn it! They’re ganging up on him! But just you watch — my father isn’t about to lose to your underhanded tricks!” “Instructor!?” Chappie was understandably angry, and on his back, Bright struggled to understand the intention behind Asley’s action. “What is Poer even…-

Immediately after confirming the presence of Shi’shichou, I spread out a curtain of my arcane energy over the whole area. If my history is true, then the rest of them must be here on this battlefield. Just like that Shi’shichou, staring at me from that cliff over there…! “…! Found them!” These arcane energy signatures are different from all I know — not Shi’shichou, not Weldhun, not the Apostles of Despair. Their auras are neither evil nor righteous — they’re made…-

How long has this been going on? I don’t remember much of what happened after Lylia killed Belial. No one among the adventurers is currently injured. I’m aware of every movement of everyone in my supporting range. For those who get hurt, I can use recovery magic to patch them right up. But… “Shit! Another guy’s done in!” For those who are killed instantly, my spells wouldn’t be able to do anything to help them. This really goes to teach me how magic isn’t a…-

Belial halted the surge of arcane energy from its body, then flew up to where Asley was. That very moment, Asley’s face turned tense. Upon seeing Belial crack an ominous grin, Asley clenched his fists. “Hehehehe…” “What’s so funny?” “Fwahaha… Fwahahahaha…” Asley started laughing. Belial, feeling how weak those laughs were, wondered whatever could be happening. “Have YoU beCome sO frIGHteneD OF mY power ThAt you lOst your…-

Once… Asley, Pochi, Giorno, Lylia, and Weldhun had fought in the region of Regalia, the Holy City, in the battle against over twenty-thousand monsters and the powerful Devil officer Bathym. Asley’s awakening to his Holy Warrior powers had enabled them to prevail over unlikely odds. This time around, however, the army they were up against was more than double the size of the one before. If not stopped, these monsters could swallow the town of Sodom whole in the blink of an eye. Facing them,…-

Hopping down from Chappie’s back, I was welcomed by Lylia astride Weldhun, resting her sword on her shoulder. “…I’m here!” “Took you long enough, Poer.” Lylia must’ve sensed the Pochi Pad Breath’s explosion just now. And the explosion site isn’t all that far from here, so it makes sense that she’d be here already. “Giorno is here, too — he’s keeping watch over there.” To be specific, he’s on top of Sodom’s south gate, looking into the…-

All right, now that I got to test it, this Drynium Rod is certainly quite a powerful weapon. According to Garm, its hardness is on the same level as Drynium Steel despite its modifications, so it packs more blunt force than Ferris’ metal rod. And he was right that conventional weapons — the bladed ones, anyway — don’t mesh well with mages. Blunt weapons wouldn’t interfere with mages’ arcane energy flow, however, so they’re pretty much fine… well, pretty much the best conventional…-
